Abrasion Resistance

Rather impressively, Kalenji has created a running top that is abrasion resistant when waring a back pack. It features silicone print on the shoulders, providing additional protection when carrying a backpack. Even a well fitted running pack will still move slightly and over the course of longer runs, can cause skin irritation. The silicone pads worked fantastic on my longer runs (>2 hrs). This running top also features flat seams to prevent chafing, an impressive feature on a running top in this price bracket.

Moisture Wicking

The Kiprace Trail TS features Equarea® technology for active moisture wicking. The tempo runs and interval runs I’ve used this top for has worked really well on warmer days.

Pockets

An amazing feature is the two elastic pockets at the back of the t-shirt, perfect for snacks such as gels, or bars. This is rare to find on running tops, but is a fantastic feature and works really well.

I personaly found that I could put two jellies in each pocket (http://www.decathlon.co.uk/fruit-jellies-pear-5x25g-id_8306882.html) or an Aptonia energy gel (http://www.decathlon.co.uk/apple-fruit-energy-gel-6-pack-id_8274401.html) and experienced no movement.

Retro-Reflective

The running top features retro-reflective zones, keeping you visible when it’s darker. The zones are subtle and you only really notice them when your looking for them. All tops should really feature retro-reflective zones.

Half Zip

The Kiprace features a half zip, which something I feel every good running top should have. As you heat up it’s great to be able to ventilate by zipping down the running top. Flat seems along the zip prevent chafing really well when fully zipped.

Conclusion

The top looks great, is only £19.99, comes in sizes S, M, L, XL and 2XL and has a two-year guarantee, what more could you ask for?
