Anita Smith, personal trainer reviews our Kalenji Kiprun Women’s Race Tank Top

Anita Smith, an energetic and enthusiastic female Personal Trainer based in Oxford, reviewed a range of our Kalenji products, including the Kalenji Kiprun Women’s Race Tank Top . She has an extensive knowledge and experience in female fitness needs including nutrition, weight loss, core strength and flexibility. She’s been a competitive athlete for most of her adult life. Since the age of 10 she was racing in running events, during her time in the Royal Air Force she represented her service and the Combined Services, you could say running is in her blood!

I love wearing tank tops when I’m running but I have found it difficult to find ones that do what they say they will. Feeling the air moving across your arms and chest can really help you to feel cooler, especially in hot weather or during tough workouts.

The super light Equarea ® fabric with the flattering racer back style means you are hardly aware you are wearing it. You get the coverage to the body you need without the bulk around the chest and arms. Importantly it doesn’t stick to your skin when you run on hot days.

The fabric is so soft that I’ve not experienced any rubbing or chaffing in the many runs I have now done in it. If you are looking for a range of clothing that you really want to wear and can trust not to irritate you during training runs and races, you have found it!

When I arrived to see one of my clients in this tank, she opened the door to me wearing exactly the same one! She hasn’t done her first race yet but she does have great kit already!

The Equarea ®fabric means this tank literally dries in minutes and its moisture transfer works so efficiently you won’t start to chill during or after your run.

After many washes this top still looks fantastic, it dries so quickly and the fabric does not hold creases. It really is a wash and wear piece of running clothing.

It also comes in two colours both of which complement the Kalenji Kiprun Women’s Running Shoe, cool huh!
