Product Review: Quechua Forclaz 400 Jacket

The Forclaz 400 is absolutely fantastic value for money, at just £69.99. Its 3 layer, Novady coating has a hydrostatic head of 10,000mm and its constructed entirely with fully taped seams and waterproof zips. The jacket is extremely breathable thanks to its hydrophilic Novadry membrane and the two large under arm ventilation zips that allow you to cool down quickly without the hassle of removing any layers. the two front pockets can also double up as vents and increase the air circulation through the jacket. In addition to the two large front pockets there is a smaller chest pocket and a mesh pocket on the inside of the jacket, ideal for any bulky items like maps or GPS units. Comfort is guaranteed by the 16% elastane that gives the outer fabric a little bit of stretch and allows for great freedom of movement.

The jacket also features two draw cords at the bottom of the jacket, ensuring a snug fit around your waist, trapping body heat on colder days. A great feature to the jacket is the storm hood, which is easily adjusted and fits snugly around your head.

All of that with a 2 year guarantee, makes this jacket an absolute bargain. Pick yours up at your nearest Decathlon store.
